``Research and development for the control of high-voltage lines, especially the breakdown of high-voltage insulators using IoT technology``

Brief description of the project and its goals:

The goal of the applicant’s project is the development of new technology that will be the basis for the construction of the company’s new product, i.e. a solution for monitoring high-voltage lines, digital system for detecting the breakdown of high-voltage insulators. High-voltage insulators are used in several segments of the power industry, but Callidus Group is focusing on insulators from 3KV to approx. 1000KV (especially in the 10KV-100KV range) used in the transmission and distribution of electricity, which represents a little less than a third of the total global insulator market.

The goal is to develop devices for detecting breaches and build a cloud system that will:

Report in real time which insulator has failed in order to minimize the downtime as well as the cost of its replacement,
Enable preventive maintenance of isolators to reveal they are about to fail and consequently to prevent outages of the power network
Enable monitoring of other key aspects of transmission lines for which there is currently no tool available on most transmission lines (pole fall/deformation, wire breakage, lightning strike)

Project:

``Implementation of an ERP system and a custom-made secondary application system with associated equipment with the purpose of increasing the competitiveness and efficiency of the Applicant's business``

Brief description of the project and goals:

The goal of the project is to introduce an ERP, CRM and BILLING/Help desk system that will improve all processes related to the management of human resources.

Automation of operations, improvement and unification of all systems, manual records, auxiliary programs and efficiency. Through the aforementioned system we will influence better establishment of the company’s internal processes, organization, efficiency and effectiveness of employees, simpler and faster measurement of employee performances, as well as the simplification of all of company’s processes.

The introduction of the ERP system implies that all employees will be familiar with the implementation process and individual responsibilities. Furthermore, with the entry into force of the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the implementation of the aforementioned system will enable full compliance with the set criteria for the protection of employee personal data.

``Introduction of the business process and quality management system - ISO standards in Callidus Group``

Brief description of the project and goals:

The goal of the project is to introduce:

Quality management system according to HR ISO 9001:2015,
Information security management system according to HR ISO 27001:2013 integrated,
Information security management system according to HR ISO 27017:2015 for Cloud services

The implementation and certification of listed ISO standards will positively affect the extension of the company’s existing capacities in relation to the current situation, which will enable:

Easier acquisition of new customers,
Further growth of income,
New employments,
Expanding into domestic and foreign markets.

The introduction of internationally recognized standards for the management system according to the requirements of ISO standards represents an important sales and marketing tool that guarantees customers the quality and safety of the provided service. The Applicant’s cooperation with international corporations from highly regulated industries implies a high level protection of clients’ personal data.

``The third phase of building CLOUD infrastructure for the provision of services``

Brief description of the project and goals:

Callidus Group d.o.o. was founded in early 2008 with the mission to help clients improve of their business results by applying IT technologies.

The company’s IT portfolio consists of two branches:

Implementation and integration of IT solutions (communication solutions, infrastructure and system solutions)
Provision of IT services (design and consulting, IT system maintenance, cloud rental)

One of the important services in the aforementioned portfolio is the provision of IT services in Cloud, domain where we are among the leading suppliers in Croatia. The project “The third phase of building CLOUD infrastructure for the provision of services” is an upgrade of the core part of the existing IT cloud infrastructure.

With the project, we intend to increase the capacity for 40 new clients. The target markets for cloud services are :

Companies from 10 to 100 computers that are ready to completely outsource the IT part of their business,
Companies of any size that have many dispersed branches,
Companies that do not have sufficient IT expertise,
Companies that want to migrate their IT from capital investment into the rental model.
